To promote overall growth and cultivate an appreciation for the environment among its students, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) at Anjuman Engineering and Technology in Sadar, Nagpur, arranged a Nature Camp in collaboration with NSS on March 2, 2024. Dr. Iram Nausheen, Assistant Professor in the Department of AI&DS, led the event, with guidance from HOD Dr. M.T. Hasan. The initiative was driven by students from the Outreach Activity and Sports Club of AI&DS.
Conducted at a tranquil nature park near Nagpur, the camp created an immersive environment within nature’s embrace. Participants were involved in various activities designed to reconnect with the natural surroundings and enhance physical well-being.
Activities such as trekking, boating, rope-way adventures, games, and horse riding were part of the diverse range offered during the camp. These experiences highlighted the significance of proximity to nature for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Dr. M.S. Pervez, the Acting Principal of ACET, welcomed the initiative, underscoring the college’s dedication to comprehensive education and student development. Beyond recreational opportunities, the nature camp aimed to cultivate environmental awareness and foster an appreciation for the natural world among the students.
