IIT Delhi has launched the Executive Programme in Robotics aimed at providing professionals with the necessary expertise and understanding needed to excel in the ever-changing field of robotics.
The program is designed to meet the growing needs of automation by utilizing the latest technologies, as emphasized by IIT Delhi. Spread across five months, it includes 120 hours of online learning covering fundamental areas of robotics such as mechanical components, sensors, and artificial intelligence.
Utilizing the state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode, the program ensures an immersive and interactive learning journey for participants. Furthermore, learners will explore practical applications of robotics in various sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and more.
The robotics market is experiencing significant growth, projected to reach $95.93 billion by 2029 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.91% during the forecast period (2024-2029). This growth reflects the increasing adoption of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) across industries, as highlighted by Forbes.
Across sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality, the integration of AI and robotics is transforming operations. Advancements in this field have led to the creation of robots capable of performing hazardous tasks, reducing risks associated with human involvement.
