Royal Global School in Guwahati, Assam, has introduced ‘Iris,’ the northeast’s first AI teacher, marking a significant advancement in integrating artificial intelligence into education. Dressed in the traditional Mekhela-Chador, Iris captivated both students and educators during her inaugural session, impressing everyone with her detailed knowledge and interactive capabilities. Developed in collaboration with Makerlabs Edu-tech under the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative by NITI Aayog, Iris tailors her responses to meet individual learning needs and adds a human touch to the classroom experience, fostering greater engagement and excitement among students.
