Verdant & Co and the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) have collaborated on a new program designed to address the growing needs of students and teachers in today’s digital world.
HP, a leading PC and printer company, has launched the ‘Innovation & Digital Education Academy’ (IDEA) program in India. This initiative supports educators by equipping them with crucial digital teaching skills and aims to transform educational methods. It will also improve the learning experience for students in CBSE schools nationwide.
The program, developed in collaboration with Verdant & Co and the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA), is designed to address the evolving needs of students and educators in the digital era.
It is set to launch in the final week of April and will span the entire 2024 academic year.
According to an official statement by Ipsita Dasgupta, SVP and MD of HP India, “This initiative will work towards transforming teaching methods and enhancing the learning experience for students in CBSE schools.”
The company aims for the program to reach 50 schools, supporting approximately 5,000 teachers and 50,000 students across the nation. It focuses on providing educators with the latest tools and best practices in teaching and learning.
Priyanka Arya, Director and COO of CENTA, expressed, “As a certification and accreditation body, CENTA is eager to offer teachers valuable professional development opportunities. We are thrilled to partner with HP to bring this program to schools in more than 20 cities across India.”
