Indian Army Provides Technology-Driven Education and Mentorship to Arunachal Youth

Seventeen-year-old Laopa Tsering eagerly anticipates the start of the upcoming academic session at Government Higher Secondary School Dirang in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, due to the recent acquisition of four new laptops and other digital infrastructure, which will allow him to explore his keen interest in coding.

Apart from Tsering’s school, the army introduced similar top-quality infrastructure for students of various other schools in Dirang, Senge, Rama-Sapper and Jang in western Arunachal Pradesh investing around Rs 30 lakh

The Indian army has provided this smart education system (e-pathshala), including interactive panels and multimedia lessons, to bridge the educational gap for government school students in remote areas, thereby improving academic performance and offering a brighter future. Additionally, senior army officers are interacting with students to provide valuable guidance and mentorship.
